Hello Friends, After a four day scrapbooking retreat with some truly amazing woman I always come home feeling recharged and filled with a new sense of purpose. You know as women we really come in to our full potential when we are able to connect with other woman. I have been so blessed to have a strong group of woman of all ages who continue to support and encourage me.
It was with this close group of friends that I shared my dream of owning and operating a crafters retreat. Let me start from the beginning...Early in Oct 2011 one of our senior pastors at church spoke on "Perspective...Potential...Power...Persistence" I always amazes me how God knows what we need to hear and just when we need to hear it. Well as it goes I kept thinking about a dream that I have held in my heart (away from God, so I thought) for a very long time. It was at that moment I decided to start to pray about my dream.
This whole process has been a real education to say the least. But, I have met some really awesome people. I'm sure many of you know about "The Little Blue House" Miss Tracy is a jewel, she along with Brenda from the "Crafty Hen House" who were really sweet to share information on their journey with me. If you have not been by the Little Blue House you really need to check it out. This is one of the projects I completed at the Little Blue House.

Any way, I have been blessed to have shared precious time and make memories with some truly wonderful women at retreats, just like the one I plan to run one day. Funny how I really don't get much done, but the time spent with my sweet friends is really what its all about. The time spent with these special people, make me a better mother, wife and friend. For now I will continue to pray that God who has been so faithful will continue to open those doors I should walk through and close those which I should not. I am excited to see where this journey will take me.
Here is a sneak peek at what I'm working on for a Valentines Day wreath. The flowers are hand cut out of book sheet. I will post the how to with pic on my next blog...
Until then, continue to create what brings you joy and "Chase a Dragonfly"
