Crafting With The Girls On St. Patricks Day

Crafting with the girls...

Karen, Kathleen and of course Sami, they came over and we did the "HOPPY EASTER" blocks.  We had a blast!  Sami, who knew she was only eight years old.  She kept up with us like a pro crafter.  Thank you girls so much for allowing me to share my joy and passion with you and for your encouragement to follow my dreams.

The finished products...Love you guys.

Vic's "HOPPY EASTER" blocks

Look at what my sweet friend made...

It looks super displayed on you counter.  Thanks so much my friend first for your friendship and for your never ending support and encouragement, I love you!!  I'm gonna start on my spring wreath, still trying to decide if I should use decorative eggs or just flowers.  Oh decisions decisions...

My New Guilty Pleasure

I just attended my very first "Art Group" at The Little Blue House. OMG, I'm so addicted. We learned several new (to me) techniques using the Tim Holtz Distress Markers. First of all while I do confess to being a collector of stamping stuff, such as ink pads...acrylic stamps...markers...just to name a few, I didn't know what to do with them.  I'm sure I'm not alone on that LOL. I had so much fun and can't wait to start experimenting with the 5 new markers I bought today.  I am going to put together an art journal to keep good notes on the new cool stuff I'm learning.  Thanks Susan you rock!!

Here are just a few tags I made.

Fast update on the beautiful chandelier I found at Goodwill.  I just have a few touch ups to do, add the crystals, and finally hang it in my craft room.
